Large Metro Phoenix Full-detail Wall Map Has Latest Updates
PHOENIX, AZ – Phoenix Mapping Service, the publishing division of Arizona-based Wide World of Maps, Inc., has just completed a major update of their Metropolitan Phoenix Full-detail Wall Map. The large 76" x 53" color wall map shows updated highways, streets, city limits, parks, golf courses, schools and much more.
The digitally prepared and updated Metro Phoenix Wall Map includes Phoenix and 19 other communities: Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Apache Junction, Fountain Hills, Glendale, Peoria, Sun Cities, El Mirage, Youngtown, Surprise, Avondale, Goodyear, Tolleson, Litchfield Park, Guadalupe and Laveen. Every year Phoenix Mapping Service makes thousands of changes to maps of the metropolitan Phoenix area. These include new sections of freeways, new subdivisions with hundreds of new streets, name changes, new parks, golf courses, shopping centers, fire stations, post offices, stadiums and more. That means there are literallythousands of reasons to get a copy of the updated 2006 Metro Phoenix Full-detail Wall Map.
Having a large wall map with this much detail is important for government services and businesses that deliver to homes or offices, as well as construction companies and utility, real estate, home services and repair companies. The wall maps are useful tools that help with planning, transportation, routing, marketing and customer service. Since these maps are often displayed in offices, meeting rooms and hallways, it is also important that they look good. The attractive pastel colors, clear fonts and cartographic styles used to produce the wall map are suitable for any office décor. This year the map also adds a grid layer that provides quick cross-reference to the popular "Yellow 1" Metropolitan Phoenix Street Atlas that Phoenix Mapping Service also produces. These wall maps can even be mounted on pin-boards and framed for greater function and a more professional look.
We make our maps with a commitment to helping users get where they’re going, the right way, the first time," says Bob Cournoyer, senior cartographer at Wide World of Maps. Keeping the Metro Phoenix Wall Map and Metro Phoenix Street Atlas current has been a full-time job for Cournoyer since 1986. "These are the only maps of metro Phoenix that are updated on an ongoing basis and published every year. We’re certain they’re the most accurate maps of the Valley that you’ll find.
Because of that attention to detail, Phoenix area businesses realize having the latest edition of the Metro Phoenix Wall Map is an essential tool for planning and improving their work efficiency.
The 2006 Metro Phoenix Full-detail Wall Map is available now for $169.95 laminated and ready to hang.
